My Opponent, Incumbent Lee Kleinman, is Owned By Special Interests NOT in District 11

Just take a look at his campaign finance report: a whole lot of money. You might ask yourself, why is an incumbent amassing such a war chest? Why is a fiscal conservative spending so much money (about $80,000 thus far, I have spent $12,000) to retain his seat? Lots of outsiders with special interests are footing his bills. Let me explain: the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas loves Lee because he will likely put more apartments in District 11. DeiDee Rose wants the Trinity Tollway. Dallas Citizen’s Council want the Trinity Tollway. And the State Fair boys are some of his heavier hitters, (silly me when I asked him to vote for a legal competitive bid): John Scovell, George Shafer.

Take a look at who owns Lee Kleinman. This is one of the worst aspects of our political system, that even though we are limited to $1000 contributions from individuals, people work the system to get what they want:
